Apple’s October 23rd event is shaping up to be very interesting, with the iPad mini, 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and a new iMac all said to be unveiled. However, it seems that we may see another update to the Mac lineup during the Keynote, with 9to5mac claiming that a new Mac mini will be announced.
9to5mac cites unnamed sources in saying that the new version of the mini will come in two configurations, with different storage and processor options. In addition to this, a third model running OS X server will also be showcased.
These new Mac minis are to begin shipping immediately after the announcement.
It has been over a year since we’ve seen a new Mac mini, with the last refresh coming mid-2011.
It is currently unclear as to whether this update will include a redesign, or just feature new internals.
