With iOS 6′s release date only days away, Apple are now putting the final touches on the redesigned App Store. As 9to5mac have discovered, Apple will be pushing users to download their own free apps, such as iBooks, Podcasts and Find My Friends.
This new page (seen above) will appear as soon as first-time users open the App Store. Apple want users to quickly “get the most out of” their iOS device through downloading these apps.
It is clearly a push for users to get more involved with Apple’s expansive range of services, but many people will not have heard of some of these apps, and will find it quite useful.
iOS 6 will be available to the public on Wednesday, September 19th as a free update. It will come standard on the iPhone 5, which is to be released this Friday, as well as the new iPod Touch in October
