Over the years, the Facebook app morphed from a rather useful and snappy app to an extremely sluggish and CPU-hungry app. Until now. Facebook has released its latest version of the app, version 5.0, and it promises to fix the sluggishness, and it delivers. When I first opened the app, it looked like there was no change, but after closing the app through the multitasking bar and re-opening it, the speed of it getting to my newsfeed was quite astounding.
