Not long after supposed parts of the next iPhone were leaked, iMore reports that Apple is planning to announce the next-gen iPhone and the rumoured iPad Mini on September 12, and to release the iPhone on September 21 (the release date of the iPad Mini is yet to be confirmed.)
iMore has heard that Apple is planning to debut the new iPhone at a special event on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, with the release date to follow 9 days later on Friday, September 21. This information comes from sources who have proven accurate in the past.
This date could in fact be quite accurate because a less reputable source, App4Phone, had previously mentioned the same date. While this rumour is no-where near beyond doubt, this does increase the possibility that both devices will be announced on this date. The waiting game begins…
